Dr. Amit Jain

Amit Jain, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician ​in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.  

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Jain worked as a Consultant Anesthetist at a 600-bed multispecialty hospital in Jaipur, India.   

Dr. Jain earned his medical degree from the University of Rajasthan, India, before completing his residency in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. He later worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education.  

Dr. Jain completed his rotatory fellowship in Transplant, Cardiac and Obstetric Anesthesia as an International Training Fellow at Central Manchester NHS University Hospitals in the UK between 2013 and 2014. 

He has a keen interest in Perioperative Medicine, with many of his publications covering the field of perioperative management, and issues in Cardiac and Neurological Disorders.  Dr. Jain’s other professional interests and skills include Airway Management, and Pediatric & Transplant Anesthesia.  

Previously, Dr. Jain was a Teaching Faculty for postgraduate and undergraduate doctors, BSc and MSc nursing students, and BSc operating room technicians in a premier quaternary medical institute in India.
